Product Description Murmurings recalls the early work of American Abstract painter Adolph Gottlieb. This large, complex work on canvas features biomorphic forms, abstract symbols, and dream-like landscapes. Movement is conveyed throughout the entire picture plane by overlapping diverse shapes and marks that range from faint to bold. The color scheme in sand, muted cobalt blue, alabaster, and charcoal gives the work an unrestrained feel.
