Among our array of beautiful furniture pieces, are those pieces handcrafted by the team at Hancock and Moore. The vision of Hancock and Moore began in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in 1981. This company has been providing masterpieces encompassing unique style and personal flare ever since. Some of what makes their furniture so exceptional is in the details.

Furniture Branding

Hancock and Moore offers furniture made with traditional Western ranch branding. Authentic brands, created from a blacksmith shop located in Texas, are used, or customers can create their own brands to further customize furniture. After brands are heated over a fire, they are added to a sofa or chair to give it unique character and then a protective seal goes over top.

 

Furniture Burnishing

Hancock and Moore has trained craftsmen that spend intensive amounts of time burnishing leather. The heat and friction during this process causes oils to come to the surface creating unique patterns and coloring. Burnished leather will get even more beautiful as it ages.

 

Furniture Hand Lacing

Talented artisans, skilled in hand-lacing, give furniture pieces a decorative trim. The fabric is measured, carefully cut, and then an enhancing pattern is woven by hand. Various hand-laced options are available to personalize your furniture such as the Explorer Lace, Jennifer Lace, Virtual Lace, and Williams Lace, which are photographed below.

 

Hand Painted Furniture

Add a piece of furniture to your home that doubles as a work of art with one of these hand-painted chairs by Hancock and Moore. Professional artists start by buffing the leather, then they paint the design by hand and secure it with a protective treatment. Painting can be added to the arms, sides, back, or front of chairs depending on personal preference.
