High Country Partners with Each Initiative

High Country Furniture and Design has partnered with EACH Initiative (Ending Area Child Homelessness) to provide a safe and comfortable home for a Haywood County family in need. EACH constructed a home to be used by families as they transition into self-sustainability and High Country had the privilege of providing all the furnishings to help make this space feel like a home.

New Home Construction Outside Home Furnishings

Working alongside of EACH, we provided furnishings that were tailored to meet the needs of this specific family. The EACH Case Manager said, “We at The EACH Initiative believe it is important for our families, who are coming from a place of homelessness and lack, to feel loved and valued. High Country Furniture and Design accomplished this from the minute the family opened the front door for the first time and walked inside. In every room High Country created a beautiful, comfortable living space that our family will be proud of and able to easily call home.”

EACH Initiative cares for families in Haywood County by providing resources such as transitional housing and financial support. While the situation and needs of each family will vary, EACH approaches each situation with compassion and love to care for homeless children and their parents in crisis. The goal of EACH Initiative is to end child homelessness in Haywood County be providing relational support to families as the move into a position where they are able to support themselves and their children and acquire long-term housing.

Getting to partner with such an impactful organization was a delight for the High Country Furniture and Design Team and we plan to continue working with EACH to help better our community.
